Keno Tactics That Win

It may not usually be thought of as the most fun game in the universe of gambling, but keno has millions and millions of steadfast followers. And it should! It’s a routinely exciting lotto-type game that’s easy to learn, readily available in several assorted variations, and one that can pay out millions of dollars for those who learn its limitless subtle intricacies. But let’s begin with the beginner’s rules for now.

When describing keno to amateurs, some gambling masters compare it to the lottery. This is at least in part apt, in that both games are fundamentally numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far would be to downplay the many unique characteristics that make keno so fun. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the power to select the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the player is furnished with an additional level of personal responsibility by being able to determine as many (or as few) numbers as she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a super genius to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your handpicked numbers with a normalmarker like you had back in the day.

Now that you’ve marked your numbers, carry your keno card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The keno pit manager will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Make sure no to drop this (potentially) valuable bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your pretty face and would like to help out, without a winning slip on you, you will collect exactly $.00 for your winning card.

Ok, there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let’s move on to something a little more useful, what do you think?

Once you’ve selected your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and watch the action take place on the monitor. That’s where the winning numbers appear for us. If you picked winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Be sure not to take your time, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You must get back to the keno stand to collect your winnings, since a new round of keno will surely start within 5 minutes.

Strategy #2: always go back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you can not trust yourself to beat that 5 minute deadline every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to twenty tickets. When the maximum amount of games (fitting the number of tickets) is played out, you may then get off your numb butt and go get your winnings.

Still another choice is recognized as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which generally lets you make number selection for 30 games or more. Hell, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after you by it!

So now you have learned a couple of needed strategies for winning keno. If you are an advanced player, they may seem to be incredibly obvious. Still, it does not hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a new gambler, every tiny bit of advice will help make your keno wagering more entertaining.
