Keno’s History
Keno was created in two hundred BC by the Chinese military leader, Cheung Leung who utilized keno as a monetary resource for his declining forces. The city of Cheung was waging a battle, and after awhile of war time seemed to be facing country wide shortage of food with the dramatic decrease in supplies. Cheung Leung had to come up with a fast fix for the financial calamity and to acquire income for his forces. He therefore designed the game we now know as keno and it was a fantastic success.
