Keno Tactics That Make Money

[ English ]

It might not usually be seen as the best game in the realm of gaming, but keno has millions of devout followers. As well it should! It’s a routinely entertaining lotto-ish game that’s simple to pickup, abundantly available in many alternate variations, and one that can yield mega-dollars for those who master its numerous subtle rules. But let’s start with the basic rules here.

When defining keno to newbies, some wagering connoisseurs compare it to bingo. This is at least to a certain degree correct, in that both games are generally numerical. Yet to take that comparison too far is likely to be to miscalculate the countless unique traits that make keno so exciting. Not like bingo, keno gamblers have the power to select the numbers for every card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the user is given an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to choose as many (or as few) numbers as he thinks is appropriate. And it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your chosen numbers with a good old#2 pencil like you had when you were a kid.

Once you’ve checked your numbers, take the game card back to the girl at the keno booth. The clerk will record those numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) valuable piece of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your pretty face and would like to help out, without a winning receipt on you, you will win precisely $.00 for your winning card.

So, there you have strategy #1: always be sure to keep your keno receipt. Let us go on to something a tiny bit more complex, ok?

Once you’ve marked your numbers, settle into a comfy keno booth and observe the action happen on a video monitor. This is where the winning numbers are displayed for all to see. If you marked winners, mark your card appropriately. Sake care not to move to slowly, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You are required to get back to the keno stand to get your winnings, as a new round of keno will almost certainly begin within not too many minutes.

Strategy number 2: always be sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Since you don’t trust yourself to meet that 5 minute margin each and every time, you always have the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your selected numbers on anywhere from two to twenty tickets. When the maximum amount of keno games (the same as the amount of tickets) is played, you are then able to get off your numb rump and go retrieve your winnings.

Another choice is known as a "stray and play" keno slip, which generally lets you make number selection for thirty keno games or more. Gosh, you can take an ocean cruise and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to get your numbers. Most "stray and play" game cards are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

And now you have learned a number of necessary methods for winning keno. If you are a knowledgeable keno player, they may seem to be quite obvious. But it will not hurt to study up on the basic practices, and if you are a novice player, every bit of direction will help make your keno playing more fun.
