Keno once was known as the White Pigeon Game, since the winning numbers were broadcast by pigeons from larger municipalities to the smaller towns. The lotto ‘Keno’ was imported to the USA in the 1800s by Chinese newcomers who migrated to the US to jobs. In those times, Keno used one hundred and twenty numbers.

Regardless of the reality that the odds of winning are terrible, there is constantly the hope that you could hit quite large with little gambling investment.
Keno is played with 80 numbers with twenty numbers drawn each round. Gamblers of Keno can pick from two to ten numbers and bet on them, whatever amount they are able to. The pay out of Keno is according to the bets made and the roll out of matching numbers.
Keno grew in acceptance in the United States near the close of the 19th century when the Chinese characters were changed with more familiar, American numbers. Lotteries weren’t covered under the legalization of gaming in the state of Nevada in Nineteen Thirty One. The casinos renamed the ‘Chinese lotto’ to ‘horse race keno’ utilizing the idea that the numbers are horses and you are looking for your horses to come in. When the Nevada government passed a law that taxed off track betting, Nevada casinos swiftly altered the name to ‘Keno’.
