Keno Tactics That Work
It will not commonly be thought of as the most fun game in the arena of gambling, but keno has massive amounts of devout supporters. As well it should! It’s a routinely entertaining lottery-type game that’s simple to master, abundantly available in lots of different variations, and one that will yield millions of dollars for players who learn its many subtle rules. But let’s deal with the basic facts for now.
When explaining keno to beginners, some gambling masters compare it to bingo. This is at least to a certain extent correct, in that both games are basically numerical. But to carry that comparison too far will be to downplay the endless unique characteristics that make keno so interesting. Unlike bingo, keno users have the power to pick the numbers for each card.
Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the user is given an increased degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as numerous (or as few) numbers as he wants. And it doesn’t take a genius to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your handpicked numbers with a ordinarymarker like you used when you were in grade 3.
Once you have picked your numbers, take your keno card back to the keno pit manager at the keno booth. The nice person will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Make sure no to misplace this (potentially) lucrative bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your mug and wants help out, without a winning slip on you, you will be given exactly $.00 for your time spent.
OK, so there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let’s move to something a tiny bit more complex, yes?
Once you’ve selected your numbers, get into a comfy keno booth and observe the action take place on a monitor. That is where the winning numbers are displayed for us. If you’ve got winning numbers, mark your card aptly. Make sure not to take too much time, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You are required to get back to the keno stand to redeem your winnings, since a new round of keno will certainly begin within not too many minutes.
Strategy number 2: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!
Assuming you can not trust yourself to make that five-minute deadline each time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 tickets. When the maximum amount of games (the same as the number of tickets) is played, you will then be able to get off your lazy bum and go get your winnings.
Yet another option is known as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which commonly allows you make number picks for thirty keno rounds or more. Heck, you can take all the time in the world and not have to worry about getting back in time to retrieve your winnings. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!
So now you know a number of needed methods for winning keno. If you are a good user, they might appear to be quite obvious. However, it doesn’t hurt to bone up on the fundamentals, and if you are a newbie keno player, every little bit of direction will help make your keno playing more entertaining.
