Keno Schemes That Will Make You Rich
It might not usually be considered the sexiest game in the world of gaming, but keno has tons of zealous admirers. And so it should! It’s a always exciting lotto-type game that’s simple to play, abundantly available in several different styles, and one that will return millions of dollars for gamblers who master its heaps of subtle rules. But let’s start with the basic rules here.
When explaining keno to beginners, some betting experts compare it to lotto. This is at least to a certain extent correct, in that each game is generally numerical. But to take that comparison too far might be to miscalculate the countless unique traits that make keno so compelling. Not like bingo, keno players have the freedom to select the numbers for each and every card.
Keno cards have a grand total of eighty numbers, but the player is furnished with an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to select as many (or as few) numbers as he or she desires. And it doesn’t take a super genius to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your desired numbers with a normalball point pen like you had back in the day.
Once you’ve marked your numbers, take the card back to the clerk at the keno stand. The clerk will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Do not lose this (potentially) lucrative piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your face and would like to help out, without a winning ticket with you, you will be given exactly $.00 for your efforts.
And there you have strategy numero uno: always make sure to keep your keno ticket. Let’s move on to something a tiny bit more useful, ok?
After you’ve selected your numbers, get yourself into a comfy keno booth and watch the action take place on a video monitor. This is where the winning numbers appear in lights. If you marked winners, mark your card accordingly. Sake care not to take too much time, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You are required to get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, since a new drawing will surely begin within not too many minutes.
Strategy #2: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!
Assuming you do not trust yourself to meet that 5 minute margin every time, you always retain the option of purchasing a "multi-race" card. These include the same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from two to twenty tickets. When the max number of rounds (the same as the number of tickets) is played, you can then get off your lazy butt and go redeem your winnings.
Yet an additional alternative is recognized as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which generally lets you make number choices for thirty keno games or more. Hell, you can take a world tour and not have to get uptight about getting back in time to retrieve your numbers. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after it’s bought!
And now you know a couple of necessary techniques for winning keno. If you are a discerning gambler, they might seem to be quite obvious. But it won’t hurt to study up on the basics, and if you are a newbie user, every little bit of direction will help make your keno betting more agreeable.
